but please don't tell yoshi i did...a couple of weeks ago when we visited kagoshima, jenn and i went shopping. i wanted to go to baby stores (of course) and so we went to nishimatsuya. nearby, there is a Uniqlo and they have baby clothes as well, so i wanted to see what was on the clearance rack. near the entrance we went into there were a lot of men's clothes. yoshi was complaining that he didn't have enough to wear, and i'm embarassed that the stuff he does have is stained. so, i checked out the men's clearance, and managed to find two long-sleeved shirts--one yellow and one blue--for five hundred yen each. yoshi was happy, especially about the blue shirt (he hasn't worn the yellow one yet...maybe he thinks it's girly...) the following monday he wanted to wear it to work, even though i hadn't washed it.

that night i had to go to kitakyushu to do some substitute classes. when i got home yoshi was in a good mood and was happy about the shirt. i got hiro ready for bed. then i heard yoshi say, 'oh no!' well, instead of writing this badly i'll straight out tell you: he used bleach on his new shirt!! i guess he got a little bit of ring around the collar and wanted to get it out. i tried really hard not to get mad--and not to laugh! the shirt was ruined. argh! men! usually he's not so...silly...but argh!! i don't know why he thought he needed to use the clorine bleach. i have two different kinds of liquid detergent and another bleach for colors. heck, even a bar of soap would have worked!! *sigh* i've looked in local uniqlos but i cannot find that particular shirt...
