tonight after our shower, tommy sat on the potty and actually produced something! it's funny to say you're proud of bodily functions, but there you go! my baby is growing up! earlier today sasha ran over to the potty (which is now in the living room because tommy doesn't play in it so much any more) and pulled down her pants and diaper. she had actually peed in her diaper, but did a poo in the potty! i can't tell you how lovely that is (lol) because frankly, i'm tired of changing poopy diapers. tommy alone had four yesterday. ugh.
since starting school hiro is pretty much diaper free. i'm not really sure how it worked out, he was taking and wearing diapers to school, but using the toilet there. so i started sending him to school in underpants, but he would change into a diaper when he got home. but eventually he went to underpants full-time during the day. i'm a happy mommy! less diapers means saving money!
it rained pretty much all day today. we even had periods of heavy rain like we would during rainy season. but it's still quite cool, so i think the wind is coming from the north. love the rain (my tomatoes have fruit! can't wait to have home-grown tomatoes!!) but the cold can go....

This is the one thing I am not looking forward to having a baby....all the poopy diapers. I`m glad that there will eventually be an end to it.
oh, it's not so bad when they're tiny. it's when they're just about big enough to potty train when it gets difficult. for me anyway!
I agree with Melanie, this is the part of having kids i am not looking forward to.
Go Tommy!
I agree with Illahee- newborn poop is no problem. It's when they start eating real food and you begin to think if they could be bothered they could probably use the toilet that it's annoying to have to change poopy nappies!
