the only exciting thing we did today was go to the doctor. what a blast. we had to wait three and a half hours to speak with the doctor for less than five minutes. *sigh* at least it's just once a year! tommy and sasha were so good for the first two hours, the play room helped! after noon, though, the got hungry and cranky. poor little guys!
afterward i treated them to lunch and got some mr. donut to go (100 yen sale) then it was nap time, hiro come home time, donut time then pretend to cook mommy food, pretend to go to bed and then play outside time. i really need to put something together for dinner but i have no idea what....
at least the day is nearly over!

3 1/2 hours wait???? Wow. I hope he's a pretty amazing doctor! Some days with little kids can seem to last years can't they?

well, i think the clinic is popular because there's a woman doctor on staff. seriously, i went there at ten, it was so crowded and they even warned me it would be 1.5-2 hour wait. one of the office ladies asked me if i wanted to go out for a while, and i thought that was a great idea but sasha and tommy had already invested themselves in the toys. *sigh* but they really were so good for a long time.
What do you mean just once a year? Hell, I'm in and out of bloody clinics and waiting rooms at least once a week, it drives me nuts!
well, i'm talking about myself.
though it seems as though my kids have my healthy genes as i'm rarely sick and neither are they. (now that i've typed that out we're gonna be sick all summer long....)
that is a rediculous waiting time. what a day!

Sorry to hear about your long wait.. thats crap. Its hard enough for a grown person to wait that long let alone little kids.

Last night we had Somen- same reason- didn't know what nor want to cook. I love food that takes only a bit of choppin and a few minutes to boil the noodles.
Recently been cooking alot of Mommy fast food i.e japanese curry tonight and the guys munch on alot of raw fruit and veggies. No cook S

Three hours? That is just insane, I remember doing to the derma dr. and I had an appointment each time but I still waited over an hour each time...
At least they had a play room though!
And what pisses me off about these waits,is tha tyou never know beforehand if it's going to a be a long one or not.So no plans can ever be made for the rest of the day.Grrr.Glad your annual nightmare wait is over!
