on sunday, yoshi and i went to watanabe clinic for a french dinner. it's part of the 'package' of having your baby there. they actually scheduled us a dinner way back on november first, but yoshi had to go to shimane and wouldn't have been back on time.
so, it was wonderful. there was an appetizer and soup and fish and steak and the best dessert (creme broule--sorry, can't do french here--burnt custard, and it was perfect! and just happens to be my favorite dessert.) they had candles and mood lighting. they also took our picture which fit into the menu on our table--and so we could take it home for a souvenir.
we weren't the only ones at dinner. there was one other couple, and two other mothers with their mothers. we really enjoyed the evening.

Hi! It's me, Dana. :) I only just found this, your real blog.
My comment is: When I read your first sentence, my first thought was, "Um... Watanabe Clinic is not a very good name choice for a restaurant. Maybe someone should tell them."
And then I kept reading. :)
