of course i can, it's my blog. :P

ok, so anyway, on friday i wanted to go to the onsen. we just sit here and sweat you know. sure, we can wash up here for free, but the local onsen has a sauna and an accompanying unheated pool. not that i planned on going in the sauna, i hate them, but the cold bath sounded great. plus, they have a 'sleeping bath' which is a shallow bath one can lie back in, and the water isn't as hot as the others. yoshi had actually come home rather early, and after an initial protest, he agreed. i was preparing our towels and underwear, though, when i asked him whether or not he would take hiro with him. he refused, saying that hiro would probably cry the whole time. i said, 'fine, then i don't want to go.' and so we didn't. ugh. hiro cries with me, and at thirty-five and a half weeks pregnant i didn't want to deal with it!!! but i did want to relax my tired body (especially my aching back and joints) in some hot spring water....*sigh*

yoshi's family came on monday (for summer vacation i guess.) next weekend is the chonan's eldest son's wedding (FIL's eldest brother's son) (oh, and that link kind of defines the word chonan, but also goes to some writing by gaijn mama) and yoshi needed a new suit, so he and his family were going to a local department store. i practically had to beg him to take hiro (hey, i have him all the time and have to take him shopping, plus yoshi's mom was going so what's the problem??) as he was leaving, my lovely (not) husband told me to turn off the air conditioner because using it for just one person was wasteful. excuse me?? i told him it was hot, i am hot and besides, there are two of us here as i rubbed my belly. (could i be more pathetic??) well, i didn't turn off the air conditioner off as soon as they were gone...
