The french knots go on the same sampler? It looks beautiful as is! I love how colourful it is. Do you have a place to hang it in mind?
I still have the baby blanket my Grandma knitted me- now it's a lap rug. So no pressure to finish it- just rename it! ;)
Job well done, I love how that amish sampler came out! And good luck on the back stitch. : )
I like the baby blanket too! In the same vein of what the fukases said. My grandmother made me a homemade blanket, as well. It's a Raggedy Ann blanket. : ) It's sewn in nice big squares. Sort of like a quilt. Anyway, for me it's priceless. It has so much meaning to it, all the love and thought that went into it. Anyways, I think the things you made/make for your kids and family, they must appreciate them 10 fold! Serious. : ) It's really really special to be able to do that. You've got talent lady! : ) Good night.
Congratulations, it looks wonderful! I never got could understand cross stitch!
Joining in the conversation in the comment section, I don't have a 'baby blanket'... but I do still have my first ever teddy bear. Mum has it at home, ready for when I give birth to our first child (not for a while yet!)
I also have mum lined up to make all my babies a 'baby blanket' - I'm sure that one day Tommy will cherish the blanket you are making him!
thats so awesome, really pretty! great job!
That sampler is amazing! Congratuoations on finishing the job:) And good luck with the baby blanket.Love the colours.Lucky Tommy.
And finally,((HAPPY BIRTDAY))!! Have a great day!Am doing my best to have my bub share it with you and have all day to try,so let the countdown begin;)
It`s your birthday? Happy Birthday!!!!
Love the crossstich- I tried once and failed miserably!!! It looks lovely!
I love the yarn you are using for the blanket! Lucky Tommy!
thank you very much everyone! i actually forgot a couple of things (soooooo busy these days!) so i'll have to do a update--part II!!
Happy belated birthday. Yummy looking cake. Am contemplating starting to knit when Marina is hospital at end of October. Does it relax you? Cross stitch is another possibility but looks a bit painstakingly difficult. I did get a very simple looking cushion cover that is still in its package from when in hospital last month!! Yufuin is nice. If you ever feel the need to travel further east...
