Check this out... are you a Mac girl? I heard Safari with their latest release is now faster... AH, you lost your bookmarks.-- I used this option to get my bookmarks back once...

OMG that sucks!!! I don't know what i'd do if i lost my bookmarks!! I don't even know the addresses of half the stuf i read. *hugs*
