today the bus came at the new time, nearly an hour earlier than before. i guess our days of sleeping in until eight are over. *sigh* the bus comes at 8:24 in the morning, which really isn't that bad. hiro comes home an hour earlier than before, too, and on half days that's before noon (last year it was 12:45 which is waaaay late, especially where lunch is concerned!)
however, 11:50 is too early to get oneself to costco and back. *sigh* i had to call the school and ask them to take hiro back to the school and i would pick him up there. how embarrassing!! poor hiro....

So many great posts recently. i love the Easter pics, the kids are growing so fast.
The box seats at the baseball game seemed perfect for the wee ones. They could see everything up close and have space to run around.
I agree, they give Yoshi tickets and then make him work is just dumb-assed. Our family trip had to be moved ahead and they gave us very little notice. If they waited to tell Masa until the next morning not the night before we would have had to pay a penalty for our our packages! Why, oh why, when it is scheduled that he is off on a certain day and know we are going away do they do this. THIS WAS THE 3rd TIME!!!
Oh well. at least our husbands have jobs.
The cookie tip rocked- thanks, I will try it next time.
Well I am glad the school could take him back- I had to laugh! Glad you got the cost-co trip in...
Do most kindy`s offer the bus ride? How far away is it? I ask, because if we live in Chiba near Shun`s parents then our kids will probably go to the kindy Shun went to (followed by the same elementary school!) and depending on how close we are then they might be able to get a bus too?
Glad the enterance ceremony went well!
aw poor little fella!
thanks lily! your support is always appreciated! :D
lulu, i don't know if all schools have buses. the ones in my town seem to, but maybe because it's fairly rural--lots of open spaces and 'isolated' neighborhoods. i don't know about hoikuens, either. i think they don't, but i guess it just depends on the school.
