it took me a couple of days because i dropped a stitch and had to start over. it looks totally different on than off, don't you think?
i like the way the yellow makes a kind of plaid pattern.
a couple of people asked if it was hot to knit in summer. well, since i've only been knitting since last august, i don't really know! i imagine it's pretty hot to knit a sweater or afghan in summer! but these are pretty small and don't lay against my body while knitting.
it was quite hot today, even for me. i even turned on the aircon in the late afternoon! *sigh* here comes summer!

Very cute!! Dropped stitch not withstanding, about how long did it take to knit?
Nice job. I hate to knit in the summer even with the AC on. But then I really hate to even move in the summer when I am in Japan. Simply breathing in the sweltering summers here makes me sweat, you know?
it's really hard to say, because i have to keep putting it down (i try to knit during nap time and play time, but during play time i have to help the kids out a lot.) it's only 32 stitches, though, in a K2P2 pattern, so it goes really quick. i would say one warmer takes me about 2 hours. a more experience knitter would do much quicker i think.
wow those look awesome~
i think i like that yarn even more than i did when i saw it in ball farm!!!!
very very cool - i have total respect for people who are crafty!!! someday somehow i will try my hand at it too :D
That looks fabulous Illahee. Have you seen the pattern with a lengthened section for holding a coffee mug? That looks like a useful hand warmer! ;P
your right, totally different on and off! and I have a hard time working with yarn when its hot. i almost never do
