i started a
scarf yesterday afternoon, and finished it today. it's so easy to make, and yet so pretty and looks a bit complicated. i found noro yarn yesterday, something i haven't seen much of around here (which is strange, since it's a japanese company!) and thought it would be perfect for this project. i really like it!
also, i have an update for sasha's birth sampler:

Hopping over from Chelle's blog just to say Hi.
wow - you are really coming on with Sasha' birth sampler!! What a great idea!! I used to love cross stitching. Scarf looks nice too - pretty colors :)
You made that in a day??? Do you have an etsy shop? I think you could make great money with your skills.
And does Sasha have three names? I love Rose as a name...
Wow!! What a pretty scarf! Hard to believe you made that in only a day!
I love Noro! As soon as i saw the photo i wondered if that's what it was. :) Gorgeous!
You did a really nice job! I don't know where you find the time? 3 little ones under foot etc.
the scarf was SO EASY! i did a lot of it during afternoon nap, afternoon play and then after the kids were asleep. it was so addictive, too, because it just builds on itself and you're like, just one more, just one more! LOL
thank you for all the kind comments. cross stitch has been my hobby since i was very young, and knitting and crochet since last year, and i really really enjoy it.
I love the scarf and Sasha's sampler. Both are lovely.
Wow - you certainly are very talented at crafts! I love the vibrant colours of the scarf.
thanks shell and ladyfi!
