this morning we went to mr donut which was something of a nightmare as both hiro and sasha screamed (at different times). what a pain. i wanted to go to the cosmos field (well, the flower field in fukutsu which is mainly cosmos at the moment) but i nearly took them straight home. but the weather is beautiful today and i actually had my nikon with me for a change, so we went.
as usual i got many pictures of these amazing flowers, with a few sunflowers as well. i LOVE sunflowers! i also got lots of bee pictures. i must have at least 50 pictures with a bee in them! i have uploaded some to flickr, and will probably upload more later. here are some of my favorites:
we got there right at mid-morning, just as van after van after van of elderlies pulled in from their care-houses. needless to say, the kids were very popular, especially tommy!!

That first photo, of the three kids, is just awesome! THey look so happy (not at all like they had just screamed! hehe!)
How far do you live from this flower field? Must be nice to have somewhere so pretty so close.

What beautiful pictures! I especially love the cosmos. They are kind of special to our family. Hand picked cosmos were the only flowers at my ILs wedding because they couldn't afford any flowers. Then, they both passed away in October. My SIL's husband has a nursing home down there in Saga (Takeo) that they even named "Cosmos".
Your kids are much more lovely than the flowers, though. I just love your little guy's teeth!

Lovely pics. Am jealous about fact you have good camera and that you have a Mr donuts in a three kids in the car driving distance! Probably lucky I don't really. Love all the pics but the one of Sasha is great :) I can't wait till Marina gets hair enough to put clips and bands in it! Anytime you want to come and add pictures of Kunimi to your album...
