i don't really do much to help others. no money, no time, no skills. but i do try to remember to go to the breast cancer site, where a click can help fund mammograms for women in need. it's pretty easy. this month they are striving for 8 million clicks, and are nearly halfway there. i am posting this here in case you don't know about it, or forgot about it.

Your right, a lot of people don't have enough money, or time, or special skills to help charitable organisations. But if just clicking on a webpage is going to help people in need, I will be clicking every single day. I might not be able to do much, but even just doing just that, we are helping. Thanks for showing me the link. I had never heard of it before.
I always forget to do that kind of thing, so thanks for reminding me. I came to the conclusion I don't do enough for others as well so about 4 months ago I signed up for a donation programme for Great Ormond St Children's Hospital. They do amazing work and what is relatively little to me would make a huge difference if 100 people gave the same amount so I thought I would become on of the 100.
I always wonder about sites like these and why they don't just help without the click? Sorry the thought just occured to me.
How are you doing?
Dee
i think the funding comes from the sponsors, from the ads. the click proves that someone came to the site and saw the ad. sometimes i even click on the ads, even if i don't buy anything. i think it makes a difference, even if it doesn't cost me anything.
