um....yeah. so i have started something new, something i have never tried before. i got a kit at costco some time ago (maybe two or three years ago?) but just recently tried it out. did it completely wrong, of course, because learning from a book is hard. luckily the internet is here to help me out.
yes my friends, i am now a knitter. i have made a bookmark, a scarf, a couple of coin purses and a baby's hat. the hat went directly to sasha's doll. now i have a slipper forming on my needles. oh man, what have i gotten myself into?
in other news, i made a dress for sasha today. it's pretty cute, especially considering that i haven't sewed an article of clothing in about ten years!

I am addicted to knitting recently too- My "kiwi nana" taught me when I was about 6 or 7 to knit (no purls) and then I promptly forgot!
Then about 18 months ago I bought some stuff to knit then got so frustrated cos couldn`t do it- then about 8 months ago I was determined to learn and taught myself via the internet! Now I love it- but I still suck!
I taught myself from the site knitting-help.com or something like that! I want to see pictures of what you have done! How exciting! My first hat I ever made is on my blog posted about a week ago!
