sorry i haven't been keeping you caught up. we haven't been doing much. hiro's school had a little musical concert on saturday. and so, hiro had yesterday off. we had a nice time visiting kuri and pinglet yesterday, all the better because we had lots of time to spend there (instead of rushing home early in the afternoon to meet hiro at the bus stop). but otherwise we've just been doing the same old thing: making messes and cleaning them up, eating, sleeping, changing diapers (thank goodness hiro only wears one at night now!!)
well, i guess i've been doing some knitting and crocheting. i really want to learn how to knit socks. too complicated for my simple brain!! *sigh*
ok, will try to do better from now on.

If you can decrease and knit a tube you can knit a sock!
basic sock broken down:
knit a tube (cuff) split the stitches in half and only knit on one side until the heel is as long as you like it....
The most difficult part is turning the heel, but once you figure out short rows (which isn't at all hard) you will have two socks before you know it! After that you knit a gusset (more tube) and then decrease evenly for the toe. The most difficult part of the sock is optional...the kitchener stitch...but there are some great youtube videos on this subject as well....
I am currently learning how to knit two socks at once...inside eachother! Sock knitting is really satisfying because it goes quickly and you can use them for a really long time! good luck!
cleaning up, eating, sleeping, changing diapers...
sounds familiar.
Hope we get to see you are your lovely brood in a few weeks :)
Good lord- is Kasandora speaking English? You two amaze me!
Hope you get back in the swing of things again soon Illahee. I hear you Southerners are almost through the rainy season? That's gotta make a difference!
