When we did Obon in July (Shun`s family does it by a different calander) I needed a mirror to stop the "bad" spirits attacking the baby.

Hope all went well with the haka maeri.Do you get to do fireworks at the gravesides?It's the best part of it for me.Bloody annoying for the ancestors I would think tho'...

oh man, the rain on friday night/saturday morning. so awful! when will it ever end??

we don't really go to graves, so no fireworks for us....
