yesterday evening i set out the laundry to dry, because i forgot to do it earlier in the day (i guess a knock on the noggin will do that to a person) and so left it out over night. it was a bit damp this morning so i left it up. then we went to the supermarket and on the way home it started to rain. i had forgotten about the laundry again so it got soaked. *sigh* stupid rain.
my head is sore. i had quite the bump on my head yesterday. ugh. and my neck and shoulders are rather stiff. i didn't sleep well last night, either. but i do feel fine otherwise. thank you for all the sympathy on yesterday's post.
well, time to make little ones go to bed....

Shit, you had RAIN?That sucks big time(plus banged heads!!).
i forget my laundry all the time and I can't blame a bump on the head. I washed a load 3 times in the past 2 days because it never got out of the washer and into the dryer or up on the line.
oh you poor thing, how your head?
Hope you're feeling better! Did you have to re-wash the laundry?
ha ha, yeah I was going to ask - how many times do you let it get wet before you give in and re-wash it? And how long do you leave the laundry in the machine after it's washed? I've found that fabric softener in the load helps it not get so smelly if I've forgotten it's there...
Just wondering how your head feels today?
Fingers crossed you had a sunny day with happy, peaceful children and got to relax while the laundry dried and everyone smiled. :)
I hope you are feeling better today...
It's gotten to the stage where I am scared to put my washing outside to dry, so I normally hang it in the laundry. I know... bad me, hey!!!
very comprehensable post. Good. Bummer about the stiff neck and things though and not being able to get a good sleep. Hope tonight is better.
So glad I'm not the only person who re-washes laundry.
Hope your noggin is better today! I also always forget the washing even when my head is completely bump free so don't feel bad! All this rain lately is making washingincredibly difficult though! I wish it would bugger off! Hope you're feeling better!
I have to say, one of the biggest culture shocks of moving back to Japan was suddenly spending lots of time thinking about laundry, and planning days around doing it.
We only have a tiny, useless balcony here, so we have to hang things on the pole in the bathroom or use the (pathetically powerles) dryer.
I feel your pain. Hope your head is better -- it's surprisingly easy to get a mild concussion from a hard head knock, so take care of yourself!
i didn't rewash the laundry, it only got a bit wet. i know i said 'soaked' but it wasn't that bad. more than a misting but definitely not dripping. plus, it was sunny when i put it outside again so good old sun-bleaching and all that.
i won't rewash a load that spent the night outside, but two nights i have to rewash. and i try not to let it stay in the machine for more than 24 hours. otherwise, rewash. *sigh* i hate laundry.
