today we went to fukuoka to have a birthday lunch at hard rock cafe. kuri and pinglet met us there, and we had a pretty good lunch (with a wandering sasha *sigh*). the kids did pretty well with their lunch, and all enjoyed a bit of the birthday sundae. hiro and tommy got a birthday 'gift' with their photo, one for each. afterward we went to an indoor playground and let the kids go wild for an hour. i am so glad that my kids are at an age that although i have to be there with them, i don't have to hover over them anymore. kuri and i had a good gossip (hee hee) and the kids had a good time!
on the way home, everyone fell asleep. for a long time. i am not really looking forward to night night time!! hopefully yoshi will be home soon and we can get the kidlets to bed before midnight....

i haven't been to Sea Hawk twon for a long time. it seems that you had a good time there. you send your kids to AEON? interesting! as i'm studying bilingualism and bilingual education.
actually, we went to the AEON shopping center in okagaki. like jusco, but not jusco! so far my kids are fluent in english and don't speak japanese very much/well. my son is in yochien full-time so he is slowly learning japanese. :D
Do you mean there will come a time when I no longer have to 'hover'. In about how many months can I expect that? Can't bloody wait.
And then you wait a few more months and you go from the no longer hover stage to the chasing around calling their names and noone answers because they've buggered off completely stage. I'm not sure which is worse....
Sounds like a great day out though- jealous!
