1. why haven't the japanese learned how to play bingo properly?
2. just because i'm a native speaker of english, it doesn't mean i want to teach you english.
3. DON'T just walk up and say random english phrases at me. it's rude.

When I show my dear students my set of Dominos and ask if they know how to play, they all say, "yes". You set them up and knock them down. I say, "well, that is ONE way of playing, but these little DOTS MEAN SOMETHING!" How do your friends play BINGO differently?
so far, any group that i have encountered who play regular number bingo, doesn't say the letter, too! drives me crazy! ;) (it's the little things, isn't it?)
Oh! You mean those letters mean something! HAHAHA! Yep, my students are baffled by their use too, now that you mention it! Now, my grandma was a pro at BINGO. I went with her to her weekly game and learned all kinds of different BINGO configurations my kids enjoy.
I know how you feel, but I have extreme difficulty putting it into words. I'm stuck here too and though my wife and daughter are Japanese...I have trouble with "the native's" lack of common sense and civilized behaviors. I'm starting to forget who I am.
